It's easy to think of grooming as a spa day — a nice-to-have. But a steady grooming routine does a lot of quiet, important work for your dog's health, not just their looks.
What regular grooming actually does
Beyond a clean, shiny coat, consistent grooming helps us catch small problems before they become big ones.
- Prevents painful matting that traps moisture and irritates skin
- Spot-checks the skin for lumps, hot spots, fleas and ticks
- Keeps nails at a healthy length so walking stays comfortable
- Cleans ears and paws, where debris loves to hide

How often should you book?
It depends on the coat. Most double-coated and curly breeds do best every 4–6 weeks; short-haired dogs can stretch to 8–12. When in doubt, ask us — we'll build a cadence around your dog.
A well-groomed coat is a comfortable coat — and a comfortable dog is a happy one.
